We have developed “VerMES bioreactor” dedicated to efficient platelet production.

This culture device is used in the study of in vitro platelet production technology and production system using human iPS cells advanced by Professor Hiroyuki Eto (CiRA, Kyoto University / Director of Research Center for Regenerative Therapeutics, Chiba University), his research group and Megakaryon Corp.

This research result was published on the American scientific journal “Cell” on July 12, 2018.

* The VerMES bioreactor will be provided only to the research group including CiRA, Kyoto University and Megakaryon Corp.
